Chaman Ara Scholarship 2023: Empowering Young Minds through Education

SpaandanB successfully conducted the Chaman Ara Scholarship Program for the 2023 program year, providing financial support to 53 deserving students from six schools in Narsingdi. The initiative aims to empower underprivileged yet talented students to pursue their education without financial burdens. The scholarship examination was held on February 01, 2024, followed by the disbursement event on March 18, 2024—both hosted at Islampur High School, Raipura.

• Scholarships Awarded: 53 students | Total Amount: Taka 1,84,000/-

This year’s program witnessed enthusiastic participation despite challenges, reflecting the students’ determination to excel. The support from school authorities and the dedication of SpaandanB’s team played a crucial role in making this initiative a success.

Scholarship Amounts:

• Class 6-7: Tk. 3000 per student
• Class 8: Tk. 3500 per student
• Class 9-10: Tk. 4000 per student

By easing financial challenges, these scholarships aim to inspire students to pursue higher education and contribute positively to their communities.

• Govt. Adiabad Islamia High School and College: 15 students
• Abdullahpur High School: 15 students
• Gobindapur High School: 06 students
• Shirajnagar High School: 04 students
• Char Shubuddi Junior High School: 00 students

The recipients were selected based on merit, ensuring that the scholarships reached the most deserving students.

The scholarship distribution ceremony was graced by Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Country Director, and Md. Sajedul Islam, Program Officer, alongside school head teachers. Their presence highlighted the importance of community support in educational initiatives.
