In many rural areas of Bangladesh, financial hardship often forces talented students to abandon their education prematurely. Small but impactful scholarship programs can play a crucial role in bridging this gap by providing timely financial support to those who need it the most. Recognizing this urgent need, SpaandanB has launched the Abdul Awwal Smriti Britti scholarship program to support disadvantaged but meritorious students in rural Bangladesh.

The primary goal of the Abdul Awwal Smriti Britti is to ensure that talented students from underprivileged backgrounds can pursue their studies without interruption. By providing financial assistance, the program seeks to reduce dropout rates and encourage students to excel academically.

The scholarships will be awarded to students from two schools in Sonagazi, Feni:

1. Amirabad Anowara Girls High School
2. Ahmedpur Nur Nabi High School

Every year, a total of 6 students from each school will receive scholarships, focusing on those who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.

How Students Are Selected:

• Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and financial need.
• The selection process is transparent and managed by the Board of Trustees.
• Assistant Head Teacher at Amirabad Anowara Girls High School, will serve as the local liaison for the program.
