SpaandanB Computer Labs

Empowering Young Minds Through Digital Access

At SpaandanB, we believe that digital literacy is no longer optional — it is essential. In today’s world, access to technology determines access to opportunity.

Many students in underserved communities in Bangladesh have little or no exposure to computers, structured digital training, or modern educational tools. Without these resources, they fall behind in higher education, competitive exams, and employment opportunities.

SpaandanB Computer Labs are designed to:

  • Provide hands-on digital learning opportunities

  • Improve Math and English proficiency using technology

  • Build foundational computer literacy skills

  • Enhance teacher effectiveness through digital tools

  • Prepare students for globally recognized certification programs

  • Connect international volunteers directly with classrooms in Bangladesh

Our labs are not just rooms with computers — they are digital empowerment centers that open doors to academic success and future careers.

AQ Computer Lab (2024)

The AQ Computer Lab, established in 2024 by the Asiya-Quasem Trust, is a modern digital learning center at SpaandanB Kallyanpur School. Equipped with 12 desktop computers and a large smart board, the lab supports computer literacy training, technology-enhanced classroom instruction, and interactive learning. U.S.-based volunteers conduct regular Math and Spoken English classes, while local teachers integrate digital tools into daily lessons. The lab also hosts Microsoft Certification courses, expanding opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to gain globally recognized credentials.

Laily Rahman Computer Lab (2025)

The Laily Rahman Computer Lab, established in 2025 at SpaandanB’s Shuchona school, expanded the organization’s digital learning initiative to a second campus. Building on the success of the AQ Computer Lab, it provides students with access to computer literacy training and technology-supported classroom instruction. Shuchona students now also benefit from Math and Spoken English courses conducted by U.S.-based volunteers, ensuring broader access to quality digital and academic enrichment.

The Opportunity Ahead

Two SpaandanB schools are still waiting for their own Computer Labs.

With your support, we can replicate this proven model and expand digital access to hundreds more students.

Establishing a SpaandanB Computer Lab means:

  • Creating lasting educational infrastructure

  • Directly impacting hundreds of children

  • Enabling international volunteer engagement

  • Providing pathways to global certifications

  • Leaving a legacy of empowerment and opportunity
