Nazrul Islam Scholarship

A regional scholarship program for rural students of grade 7 to grade 10

Empowering Rural Talent: SpaandanB’s Scholarship Program at Galachipa Model Secondary School

Since 2022, SpaandanB has been honoring the legacy of Mr. Nazrul Islam by distributing scholarships to meritorious students of Galachipa Model Secondary School in Patuakhali, Bangladesh. Mr. Nazrul Islam, who grew up in Galachipa and attended this school, serves as an inspiration for this initiative. The scholarship program supports top-performing students from grades 6 to 10 based on their academic achievements, including those appearing for the SSC exams. Each year, depending on the availability of funds, 3 to 6 students per grade are selected to receive one-time monetary support.

This scholarship program plays a crucial role in recognizing and encouraging talented students from rural areas. By easing financial burdens, it allows young learners to focus on their studies and aspire to greater heights. Such initiatives not only reward academic excellence but also serve as a motivating force for other students to strive for success. Investing in the education of rural talents ensures a brighter future for both the community and the nation.
