What a difference a school can make in a young life! Take Shakib, who came to a SpaandanB school as a four-year-old after we helped convince his parents of the power of education. Today he is completing the 10th grade, dreaming big, and looking toward a bright future. Then there is Hawa, who without SpaandanB’s timely intervention, might have been forced into a childhood marriage. Instead, she has a life of safety, dignity, and learning.
Every day, children in the urban slums of Dhaka overcome immense barriers, thanks to education. We have already seen the massive impact of computer labs in two of our schools. Now we need your help to bring that same technology to our remaining two schools, serving 800 bright young students.
Our U.S.-based volunteers are teaching relevant English, Math, and IT basics to some of our students. We need your help to connect them to ALL of our students.
