Annual Report 2023-24
On behalf of HWCCNC, we extend our heartfelt greetings. In the year 2023-24, the organization has effectively maintained various programs. Every year, within our limited capacity, we strive to conduct nutrition, healthcare, and education activities aimed at improving the health services for poor children, mothers, and the general public in Gokarna and surrounding villages.
Programs for the Year 2023-24-
1.From the Rizia Begum Memorial Computer Learning Center operated by HWCCNC, 11 students successfully passed with A+ under the Technical Education Board Dhaka in the academic year 2023-24. The third batch of students will be admitted in July.
2.Inspection of HWCCNC and PATA projects by the Thana Women Affairs Officer.
3.Distributed winter clothing to a total of 110 poor mothers, including mothers and children of the organization, on February 10.
4.The annual Milad and Pooja were held with due dignity on February 8 and 9, 2024.
5.The Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on June 28, 2024. The wife of the honorable Upazila Executive Officer of Nasirnagar, Mrs. Sharmin Jannat, graced the event. Certificates were distributed to the first and second batch graduates at the computer training center during the general meeting. Mrs. Sharmin Jannat distributed the certificates as the chief guest.
6.On March 8, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, seven members represented HWCCNC at the Nasirnagar Thana headquarters.
The Women’s Affairs Department granted a one-time donation of 40,000 Taka for the fiscal year 2023-24. We thank the authorities of the Ministry of Women and Children’s Affairs on behalf of the organization.
8.In the PATA (Pathological Assistance for the Treatment of the Afflicted) project, there were 512 patients in the year 2023-24.
9.The Abul Kalam Bepari Child Education Center operated by HWCCNC provides year-round education in a joyful environment for children.
10.The Nilufar Hakim Scholarship was awarded to the top three students who advanced from class 9 to 10 at Syed Waliullah School and College on February 10.
11.The building was painted for proper maintenance.
12.In the child and mother nutrition program for 2023-24, nutrition was provided to 3,153 children, and 775 pregnant and postpartum mothers. A total of 3,928 individuals benefited.
13.Participation from HWCCNC in the farewell event of the Thana Women Affairs Officer.
