Dr. Marufi Khan: A Trailblazer in Education, Literature, and Social Welfare

Dr. Marufi Khan is a visionary educator, accomplished author, and dedicated advocate for women’s and children’s welfare in Bangladesh. With a career spanning over three decades, she has held prestigious roles such as Principal of Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam College in Mymensingh and Ispahani Girls’ School and College in Dhaka. Known for her disciplined leadership and commitment to excellence, Dr. Khan has profoundly influenced the educational landscape both at home and abroad, including her tenure as Vice Principal of the Bangladesh Mission School and College in Doha, Qatar.

A scholar of Bengali literature, Dr. Khan earned her Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta and has authored numerous books, blending literary finesse with social commentary. Beyond her academic achievements, she has significantly contributed to social welfare initiatives as the founder of the Haridasi Woman and Child Care and Nutrition Centre, providing critical support to underprivileged women and children.
